Members of the Yoruba nation army arrested
Noah Atoyebi, Adeleke Gbenga, Abdulganiyu Mustapha, Bashiru Kehinde, Ifagbola Elijah, Oladapo Ajani and Rasheed Jimoh are self-proclaimed Yoruba agitators who invaded Radio Nigeria, Amuludun FM, on the 296y May 2023.
They were arraigned on Tuesday on four counts of conspiracy and treason and two counts of armed robbery in a Magistrate’s Court sitting in Iyaganku, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Magistrate P. O. Adetuyi, who presided over the matter, ordered their remand at the Abolongo correctional facility in Oyo after refusing the plea of their counsels, and adjourned the case until September 13, 2023.
