Danladi Wari, 65, has been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling a nine-year-old girl in Adamawa.
He was arrested in Gangaraso in Jada Local Government Area on the 23rd May, 2023 after the girls family reported to the Police.
Wari who blamed the minor during police interrogation, said the girl touched his manhood seductively, followed him into his room and seduced him into sleeping with her.
The Adamawa State Police Command, State Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, told newsmen that Wari also claimed that the girl demanded for N200 after the act, but he instead, sew some clothes she had brought to him for free.
The Police has promised that Wari will be charged to court soon.
